A rewarding installation in Derbyshire with a Marquis spa for some time David and Lisa (now clients of deep end pools) set upon their spa search, for a period of maybe two years they debated, what spa would best suit them, until recently. After a discussion in store with reference style and potential usage David and Lisa choose the Marquis Reward spa, with lounge position and 41 jets! A great 2.1m spa seating 6 adults.

David then informed deep end pools whilst the search was ongoing they had in fact relocated to Derbyshire, rising to the challenge obviously this was no barrier and merely a few hours drive.

The backdrop and view had been described by our clients so we eagerly awaited delivery, and sure enough that day came. With all going well David and Lisa were kind enough to leave this comment.

Deep end pools recently won a design award for a hot tub installation installed in 2007 in the Maidenhead area. the installation involved the spa being located near by a recently built swimming pool. the design brief included the correctly specified spa for the given space and more importantly the internal set up of the spa such the view from the spa looked onto the pool surround area. The Marquis spa was then moulded neatly into the space with the use of decking and the banking of spoil from the swimming pool construction to dual as a wind break.

Deep End Pools is very proud of this award and looks forward to entering the awards in 2008 with new installations.

In March 2008 deep end pools was awarded most improved dealer within the Marquis spa network this is a fantastic achievement, certainly one of which we are extremely proud of. The award presented by Dominic Adams of Golden coast Barnstaple Devon, was great fully received and has now been placed within our showroom on display for all to see.

Deep end pools have just become the latest stockist for the texsun x- system, this is a unique solar powered panel, offering the swimming pool owner fantastic solar gain temperatures, over alternative systems on the market and more importantly it versatility when installation comes in is great, the panels can be roof mounted, mounted to product specific frames at 30 degree angles to provide the best achievable solar gain, mounting kits for fences or just simply lay flat onto the ground.

Within the meeting with Brian Collins export sales manager for texsun, we discussed the many variables to which solar systems are sold and installed, the x-system solar collectors have a really simple optional sensory device which can measure the outside temperature and then determine if the swimming pool water should be sent to the collector or not, this can prove to be an excellent piece of kit as sending potentially cold water back to the pool can have the opposite effect and the pool can be cooled by solar collectors. The optional sensory kit from texsun can negate this situation.

We expect units to land in store on the 25th of April along with sensory devices, so if you are considering becoming more energy efficient with your swimming pool this season or simply looking to reduce you long term energy bills over the forthcoming years then book an appointment to discuss your options further.

Texsun Update June 2008

The texsun system has been extremely popular this season already, to the point the customer feedback was so good i felt i should install this system at home the below pictures illistrate myself and Daneil creating a timber frame and four panel system. the timing was great having just installed the unit in the sun. we achieved a 4 degree increase in pool temperature by the following day. We choose to install the system on a timer module however plan to upgrade this to a sensor device in the next couple of weeks further saving energy on the filter pump run time. enjoy the pictures.

On the 15th April 2008 work began constructing an Endless summer wooden pool for our client in South Heath Buckinghamshire. Our client has chosen the endless summer wooden pool structure for many reasons the backing of the product is not only supported by ourselves but is manufacturer by Certikin international ltd.

We have chosen to drop the pool into the ground by a half, this will look fantastic and create the in ground look as the garden slopes to the rear. The area has been excavated last week and today saw the exciting delivery by hacklings articulated lorry, the pool has been unloaded and sited ready for construction of which we aim to complete within 7 days!

We will certainly keep you posted as we are sure this project will look fantastic upon completion.

Day 2

Day two of deep end pools largest wooden pool build has seen the swimming pool structure rise in less than one day! The pool looks fantastic and now give a viewer’s perspective on how the pool will settle into the surrounding garden and landscaping, we aim to install the liner and have the swimming pool filling, by day three due to the speed in which this great system is devised. once again we attach images to see our progress. our suppliers Certikin are extremely happy with the progress.

Endless summer pool one year on.

Today we received comment on our services from a very loyal long established customer in Chalfont Buckinghamshire, deep end pools were called out to rescue a failed circulation pump late in the day Thursday the 17th of April 2008. Our customer’s response reflects our level of service offered, and hats off to our senior engineer for his sterling efforts that evening.

I want to thank your firm for the very prompt assistance when our pool pump failed last Thursday afternoon. Your engineer came around at 6 pm the same day and installed a new pump. I haven’t seen him for a long time and would like to say what an excellent pool engineer he has become.
